What is a 9 inch block actually for?
Load-bearing walls, external walls and multi-storey structural work where maximum strength is required.
Can I use 9 inch for an internal partition?
You can, but it isn't cost-efficient. At 7.0 N per square millimetre, 9 inch is built for heavy structural loads. For internal partitions, 4 inch is the more economical choice.
How many do I need per square metre?
The block face is 450 by 225 millimetres, which works out at about 10 blocks for every square metre of wall once mortar joints are counted, before you add anything for breakage. Send us your wall measurements and we will do the count with you.
What is the minimum order and how fast can I get it?
From a few hundred blocks upward. Common sizes are in continuous production so they usually move quickly, and you get a firm delivery date on your price before you pay anything.
