Questions about high yield rebar
What grade is your rebar?
Grade 500, giving 500 N per square millimetre yield strength. It is batch tested for yield and elongation before it is released to site.
What sizes do you carry?
12, 16, 20 and 25 millimetre. Between them they cover foundations, columns, beams, lintels and floor slabs on most Nigerian residential and commercial work.
How is it sold?
Tell us the sizes and quantities on your bar bending schedule and we will price it clearly, so you can see exactly what each diameter is costing you rather than one lump number.
What is the difference between this and TMT?
Both reach 500 N per square millimetre. TMT bars are thermo mechanically treated, which gives better ductility and bendability, so they are the choice for high rise and heavy structural work. For everyday reinforced concrete, Grade 500 high yield does the job.
